Pockets

Exhibited at the HDK-Valand MA Craft, Textiles degree show at Kronhuset, Gothenburg. Winner of Slöjdföreningen Karna Askers Award for Craft and the Eric Ericson Award for Art. Pockets is an exploration of the artist’s English heritage through traditional materials and techniques, challenging ideas of taste and 'bling.' The pieces recognise the strength and creativity of historical working-class women.
